P.I.P.E. Line (Protecting our Investment through Property Enhancements)
We help to maintain the cosmetic upkeep of the interior and exterior site of the property. We survey the areas for needed improvements, make recommendations and develop an annual plan to accomplish those enhancement goals. We landscape the grounds; restore the outer appearance of the building structure, provide seasonal indoor/outdoor plants and décor, etc. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9 ESV
Sanitation and Facilities Maintenance

We thoroughly clean daily and perform routine maintenance activities to ensure the building is prepared for all functions. Let all things be done decently and in order. 1 Corinthians 14:40
Security
We serve God as guardsmen to protect the church, the word of God and the members of the body of Christ. We work diligently to maintain a safe and secure environment for all members and guests to enjoy the services without disruption. We keep observance over the people and premises to assess potentially harmful situations and take the necessary steps to ensure the safety of everyone. Peace be within your walls and security within your towers!” Psalm 122:7
Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; 5 and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; 6 and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. 7 To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. 8 For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.11 All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills. 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 ESV
Armor Bearers
We are under covenant to protect the word and secure the safety and sanity of the pastor and keep his vision at all times. We are prepared physically, mentally and spiritually to act in faith and service to relieve the pastor of undue stress and demanding situations. We anticipate the unexpected and hold steadfast in position. We are willing and available to assist and provide strength and support to the pastor and those he has delegated in authority. And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, 25 correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth. 2 Timothy 2:24-25
Blessed Brothers and Soul Sisters (B2SS) - Big Brothers/Big Sisters
We mentor new Christians who have recently joined the body of Christ and serve as big brothers and big sisters to act as a link helping them to become acclimated within the church body. We develop positive Christian relationships while introducing them to available programs to nurture their soul and give them an opportunity to grow spiritually and stay connected with God. We empower our members through support and guidance to overcome life’s obstacles and continue to live a healthy and balanced Christian lifestyle in society. Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. 2 Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. Hebrews 13:1-2 NIV
Deacons
We serve the Lord under the authority and as directed by our pastor as pillars of strength for the church body. We minister to the needs of the members of the church through prayer, studying and teaching the word of God and caring for the pastor. In the same way, deacons are to be worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain. 9 They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience. 10 They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons. 1Timothy 3:8-10
First Lady “Ladies of Labor” (LOL)
We attend to the needs of the women in the church by first recognizing that we are not the same and accepting those differences. We are charged with a labor of love to minister to and encourage women through Bible study, wisdom and life's lessons to actively seek out and serve God with their hearts and talents in their homes, church, and community. We equip them with necessary skills to strengthen their faith and challenge them to be accountable and virtuous women. Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, 4 and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled. Titus 2:3-5
Mother’s Board
We provide support for the church through our many years of knowledge and experience. We are dedicated leaders and support the body of Christ by being pillars of faith, nurture and share our wisdom with the youth, being role models to our sisterhood, supporting teaching initiatives, assisting with the preparation of Holy Communion. Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled. Titus 2:3-5
Pastor’s Aid
We serve as a spiritual, financial and emotional support system for the pastor as well as his immediate family members. We anticipate the needs of the pastor while at home or away and provide those needs to ensure that nothing is lacking. At times we may also serve as a surrogate to an out of town visitor pastor to accommodate minimal needs while he is away from his home church. Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching. For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer deserves his wages.” 1Timothy 5:17-18 ESV
Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labor. Ecclesiastes 4:9 ESV
Finance
We oversee all money matters and make recommendations where warranted for approval. We develop the annual operating budget for the church and banquet facility and assign goals and parameters for each group to help meet the budget. In addition, we allocate funds appropriated to finance maintenance, renovations, guests, salaries, etc. We also manage, monitor and compute all funds received via the offering and rectify any discrepancies. The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. Deuteronomy 28:12
Fundraising
We create opportunities to cultivate potential donors/sponsors to support church initiatives and community-based needs by promoting fellowship through our charitable efforts. We donate service through our time and talents by implementing an ongoing Christian fundraising program to motivate others to freely give while demonstrating that the benefit is greater than the donation. We assist the ministries with finding fundraising campaigns to help them accomplish their goals. In all things, I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.'" Acts 20:35
Personnel
We represent the church for all administrative responsibilities including employment. We also work diligently to protect the church’s investment of time and money by scheduling events and advocating for the pastor and staff. We maintain order and support the work of the staff and church ministries, manage the church calendar, schedule events, enforce policies and procedures, etc. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Colossians 3:16 ESV
Choir
We are leaders in worship and utilize our vocal abilities in outreach to help support the ministry by spreading the good news of Christ in song to the believer and unbeliever. We humbly give our time and talents in service to offer praise to God in song. We help to uplift the service through music to reach the heart with understanding and give life to the word of God. Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works! Psalms 105:2 ESV
Mime Ministry
We worship God as a uniform body of Christ through unspoken praise. We utilize silence and physical motion interpretation as a form of spiritual expression to uplift and exalt God. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we strive to reflect God's impact on the human spirit as we minister to touch the hearts of congregation so that sinners might be saved and believers hold on to their faith. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:24 ESV
Praise Dancers
We surrender to God and worship him through our expressive dance. We celebrate our love for Christ and minister to the people by elevating them to share in a different kind of worship experience. We embody a special language to communicate to God while using this platform as a way to encourage, comfort and inspire Christians to continue to walk in their faith. Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens!2 Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness!3 Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp!4 Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! 5 Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! 6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Psalm 150:1-6 ESV
Praise Team
We set the tone for the worship service by offering high spirited praises to God. We stand proud and unashamed before the church body ushering in the presence of God into the temple through ministering our praise and worship. Our experience is our testimony and God is our focus. We initiate and lead the congregation into preparing their hearts to receive the message and participating in a praise break session. And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to the Lord and praise him in holy attire, as they went before the army, and say, “Give thanks to the Lord, for his steadfast love endures forever.” 2 Chronicles 20:21
Likewise, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26
Barnabas Team
We are commissioned under the Holy Spirit to bring forth life into the body of Christ. We go joyfully witnessing and sowing seeds everywhere in hopes of winning souls. We offer ourselves as servants professing the good news and encouraging sinners to accept and follow Christ. Through prayer and supplication, we continue to strengthen the body of Christ and win souls through counsel. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he that winneth souls is wise. Proverbs 11:30
Prayer Warriors
Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Matthew 18:19-20
Prayer Line
We promote prayer as a corporate way to empower individuals to intimately get to know God. Prayer is a privilege. It is our way of communicating with God and leads to wisdom and healing. Our prayer line enables individuals to overcome the obstacles of physically going elsewhere and receive prayer wherever they are while drawing them closer to God. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 ESV
And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. 1 Peter 5:10 ESV
Benevolent
We acknowledge and understand that certain essentials are required in order to maintain a family and to continue to thrive within the community. We follow Christ’s example by helping to care for those that require some assistance. As disciples, we prayerfully and compassionately address those concerns on a case by case basis and provide available resources to help meet those needs. We willfully partner with the families and community to design need specific plans of action in response to our commitment to working towards a long-term solution. In all things, I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.'" Acts 20:35 ESV
Bereavement
We foster a spirit of love and unity while offering a strong support network to assist you with planning the arrangements for your loved one. We facilitate grief counseling to help you deal with life’s changes and encourage you to get acclimated back to a suitable routine. “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NIV
